External Scholarships and Bursaries
The Ministry of Education offers Boarding and Travel Bursaries and Scholarships. These are awarded on application directly to the Ministry of Education.
Old Girls' Association Bursary
The bursary award contributes up to $4,000 per annum towards school fees, paid in term instalments.
To be eligible, the proposed recipient must be the daughter, granddaughter or niece of a Sonning & Waikato Diocesan Old Girls' Association Financial member.

Old Girls' Centennial Tertiary Scholarship
The Sonning and Waikato Diocesan Old Girls’ Association Centennial Tertiary Scholarship is awarded each year to assist a financial member of the SWDOGA with tuition fees to complete or further her tertiary studies.
A sum of $3,000 will be paid to the successful applicant in March of each year. To be eligible for consideration, the applicant must have completed her secondary schooling at Dio and have completed at least two years of tertiary study at a recognised tertiary institution.
