Our picturesque Waikato Diocesan school campus is located at 660 River Road, on the edge of the mighty Waikato River, which flows through the heart of Hamilton City. Dio is conveniently situated near the CBD, bus stops and Chartwell Shopping Centre. We have superb facilities to complement your event, and we are confident you will enjoy our beautiful surroundings.
Dio offers a wide range of facilities available outside of school hours and term time (e.g., weekends and school holidays). If you are a private or corporate group seeking a venue for an event or perhaps a sports team looking for a training venue and/or accommodation, look no further. We understand your requirements will be unique and are prepared to customise and quote to your specific needs.
Dio’s facilities are available to outside organisations or groups for casual or weekly, term break, evening and occasional weekend usage.

Accommodation
Dio offers five centrally heated, carpeted, furnished boarding spaces - dormitory style, twin share or single rooms.
We can accommodate up to 165 guests with:
Comfortable bedding, complete with sheets, pillowslips, duvets and towels, is provided.
Shared bathroom facilities
Lounges – televisions and DVD players
Pool tables & table tennis
Laundry –washing machines, dryers & drying room
Kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge
Self-catering is an option, but there is limited crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment, and utensils.
A catered Dining experience in our school Dining Room is highly recommended
